Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all paid products and services offered by The Synergy Group AG (“TSG”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a Swiss limited company registered under CHE-497.254.492. It should be read in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions.

1. SaaS Subscriptions

TSG operates several cloud-hosted software products on a subscription basis, including CoachPilot, JobTrackerPro, MoneyQuiz, and 101 Business Insights.

1.1 First-Month Satisfaction Guarantee

New subscribers are entitled to a 14-day satisfaction guarantee on their first month of any SaaS subscription. If you are not satisfied with the service during this initial period, you may request a full refund of the first month’s subscription fee by contacting us at andre@thesynergygroup.ch within 14 calendar days of your initial subscription date.

This guarantee applies once per customer per product. It does not apply to renewals, upgrades, or additional subscriptions if you have previously subscribed to the same product.

1.2 Monthly Subscriptions

You may cancel a monthly subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refund is issued for the remainder of a partially used billing period. You will continue to have full access to the service until the end of your paid period.

1.3 Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are billed in advance for the full year. If you cancel an annual subscription before the end of the annual term:

  • A prorated refund will be calculated based on the number of full, unused months remaining in the annual term.
  • The refund is calculated at the monthly rate (not the discounted annual rate) for the months already consumed. The difference between what you have paid and what you would have paid at the monthly rate for the months used is refunded.
  • If the monthly-rate calculation for consumed months exceeds the annual fee already paid, no refund is due.

Example: If you paid CHF 2,988 for an annual CoachPilot subscription (CHF 249/month equivalent) and cancel after 4 months, and the standard monthly rate is CHF 349/month, the consumed portion is 4 × CHF 349 = CHF 1,396. Your refund would be CHF 2,988 − CHF 1,396 = CHF 1,592.

2. Consulting and Project Services

Consulting engagements and project work are governed by a Statement of Work (SOW) agreed between the parties.

2.1 Milestone-Based Billing

Project fees are invoiced on a milestone basis. Refunds are available only for milestones that have not yet been delivered. Once a milestone deliverable has been provided and accepted (or deemed accepted after the review period specified in the SOW), the corresponding payment is non-refundable.

2.2 Cancellation by the Client

If you cancel a project engagement before completion, you are liable for:

  • All milestones already delivered and accepted;
  • A pro-rata fee for any work-in-progress on the current milestone, calculated based on documented hours or percentage of completion.

Any prepayment exceeding the above amounts will be refunded within 30 calendar days.

2.3 Cancellation by TSG

If TSG is unable to complete a project engagement for reasons attributable to TSG, we will refund all payments for undelivered milestones in full.

3. Free Services

TSG offers certain services at no charge, including free website audits and diagnostic tools. As no payment is collected for these services, no refund is applicable.

4. Hospitality and Booking Services

Refunds for Hillside Sanctuary bookings are governed by the specific cancellation terms communicated at the time of booking. In general:

  • Cancellations more than 14 days before the arrival date: full refund less any applicable processing fees.
  • Cancellations 7–14 days before the arrival date: 50% refund.
  • Cancellations less than 7 days before the arrival date: no refund.

5. Exclusions

Refunds are not available in the following circumstances:

  • Violation of our Terms & Conditions or acceptable use policy leading to account suspension or termination;
  • Failure to use the service during the subscription period (non-use does not entitle you to a refund);
  • Price changes that take effect after proper notice as described in our Terms;
  • Third-party fees, taxes, or currency conversion charges incurred by your payment provider.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email andre@thesynergygroup.ch with the following information:

  • Your full name and the email address associated with your account;
  • The product or service for which you are requesting a refund;
  • Your subscription or invoice reference number;
  • The reason for your refund request.

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and provide a decision within 5 business days of receipt.

7. Refund Method

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method (via Stripe). Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer, but typically take 5–10 business days after approval. All refunds are issued in Swiss Francs (CHF).

8. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by Swiss law. In the event of a dispute, the provisions of our Terms & Conditions regarding governing law and jurisdiction apply.
